joy cho's blog inc. austin book tour.

Finally pics from Joy Cho's last book tour stop in Austin. About two weeks late, but hey, better late than never, eh? Jan, Kristine and I moseyed on over to West Elm a bit early that night, ooh-ing and ahh-ing at pretty decor before things got started. West Elm happens to be one of my favorite stores to just ... daydream.  Sometimes, maybe, perhaps I'll buy something, but really, I spend way too much time here just taking pictures, pictures, pictures. Gah, I love it here! This place is a visual inspiration wonderland oozing with eclecticness! So after much gandering and scouting out the snack buffet spread, we chatted a bit with Joy Cho. Yah that's right, we kicked it for 5 minutes. Man, she's so cool. Her energy and insane originality is really infectious. Just like this whole book signing experience in itself. I've never been to anything like it. Inspiring stuff. It breathed new life into my very own personal goals and projects set for the now and near future. A much needed jolt for the creative juices! baby photoshoot // baby avery.

Pictures by Jin Chu Ferrer of Contradiction of Sorts.

Had a quick photoshoot with Little Miss Avery last weekend. When I say quick, I mean me and V popped on over for a couple of hours before heading out to a wedding that same day. Wish we had more time to hang out, take lots of pictures, and hang out some more! Considering it was our first time to meet Baby Avery! And she turned out to be quite the agreeable cutie patootie! Always staring into the camera with that ... look. I see derelicte fashion model in the near future! Hurry up and make more beautiful babies oozing with coolness, Liz and Lance!

one november day, a year ago.

Where has the year gone?? It feels like just yesterday we were dancing and drinking that crazy fun day away! You know how they say no wedding ever goes according to plan on the day of? Well it's all true. And of course you find out the hard way. Sure enough, we had our fair share of snafus on that fine November day, but hey, it makes for great stories! Those unexpected surprises, along with all the DIYs, gave our perfectly imperfect wedding that much more character and personality. It wouldn't be a Jincent wedding without a little bit of spontaniety and a whole lot of randomness!

To our friends and family, thanks for all the overwhelming one year anniversary love!
