Stack of Griddled Cakes with Lemon Zest Butter + Caramelized Grapefruit on the side for her. Pork Belly and Cornmeal Waffle for him. That's brunch filled with all kinds of nom, nom, nom! And here's an extra nom for the open-concept, zen-like diner ambiance and unassuming minimalist decor, because let's face it, we all feast with our eyes first. It's what gets our tongues primed for noming. Speaking of feasting with the eyes, I'll just let the pictures of food porn do all the talking. I mean, noming. ;-) But don't take it from me and V. You know Skillet Diner is nomlicious when an ex-Seattleite-now-Houstonian friend highly recommends it, with 4 Yelp stars backing her up.

From one foodie head to another. Seriously. That grapefruit, though. With the top coat of caramelized goodness ... NOM!

besos ... jin.
